Camp Counselor , Barn Hand & Instructor- 2014 to current
Blue Rider Stables, Inc. is a non-profit organization providing therapeutic horseback riding in the Berkshires for physically and developmentally challenged children and adults. Their mission is to offer an holistic educational environment, in which people and animals can safely interact, and through their mutual therapeutic experiences, broaden the scope of their lives.
Breakfast Server, 2022- current
The Inn at Stockbridge, an upscale Berkshire bed and breakfast, is in a 1906 Georgian style mansion, in Lenox, MA, and serves visitors from around the world.
Camp Counselor-since the age of ten, I have taught campers ages 4-16 about equine care and riding during 1-2 week summer programs.
Helper, Instructor- Since 2014, I have assist with weekly riding lessons with children and adults, including special needs clients. I have provide the care, feeding, and exercising of a herd of twelve equines (horses, donkeys and mules) several times a week, year-round. I also manage special support for the equines, including Chinese herbs and medication, year-round.
I support the Inn owners in morning prep in the kitchen and dining room and I serve during breakfast and brunch service for inn guests. I also Interact the with guests and provide recommendations to local attractions.
House & Pet Sitter, 2022- current
An independent contractor serving 2nd home residences in the Berkshires and local families on vacation. Providing overnight stays, care, feeding and companionship to family pets and livestock pets. Provide oversight to home and property in residents’ absence.
